I’ve loved “Look Around You” ever since I ran across it randomly up near the booby channels back in 2007. In this show, guest host Xeni Jardin interviews one of the minds behind that wonderful program, comedy writer Robert Popper. Popper has a new show on BBC America called “Friday Night Dinner.”
(Now that there’s new Top Gears—did I see that correctly, or did I dream it?—I really ought to just superglue my remote.)
BTW: near the end we hear Robert call in to a TV evangelist, asking for succor after an eagle attacked his buttocks. Somewhere Peter Cook—or should I say “Sven”?—is smiling.
