Being a fan of photojournalism, Swinging London, and the occasional naked woman, I was delighted to run across this collection of photos from John “Hoppy” Hopkins. Apparently there’s a show of his work going on at London’s Adam Street Gallery. I’ve posted some shots below, but a larger selection of work from the show can be found here.

I’m still investigating Hopkins’ site (apparently he was a founder of The International Times, copies of which I’ve dug through at the UCLA library), but “Memoirs of a Ufologist,” an appreciation of the UFO Club, was a pleasant detour into the Summer of Love. One can almost see a maniacally grinning John Lennon looming in the patchouli gloom…
